I had a relationship of sorts with Miss Davis, Bette Davis, in her last 10 years. There are many aspects of why I considered this a relationship, not least of all she agreed to pose for me for a project when I was at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology). We had to come up with a magazine concept and mine was way ahead of it's time geared to women "over 39."
Miss Davis agreed to pose for a photography student! I died when I got the message from her in my dorm and then called her back for what would be the first of many conversations before we actually met in her Los Angeles home.
