Once you hit one, go for another!

Reaching for one's goals is like having an "in box!"  At best it should never be empty because there's always something else you can do, reach for and achieve -  even if thatd means finding the perfect shade of red lipstick!

I've been going through some of my older drawings and thinking, Dang!  That's Gewd'! I discovered this one and thought I may have to make this Vanity Observation into a funny woman greeting card, that I'll post in my Etsy Vanity Gallery!  I like the Vanity message cuz' I'm always, but always reaching for goals and there's always new and evolving ones!

A Halloween Ghost DIY - will take maybe 2 minutes!

 Booooo!

I do this every single year and make countless ghosts!  I end up giving so many to the Trick or Treaters!  I love putting a little Dollar Store (well, the dollar twenty five store), little votives underneath -  which shows in the video!

A Card is Born - Where ideas come from -

 Soooo, one of the things I'm often asked is where do I come up with ideas for my Funny Women Cards that I sell in my Etsy VanityGallery.  Wellllll, this video will give you a little insight!  

This character, who I will be naming shortly, will be featured on some of my upcoming cards.  She's a  woman worn by the elements of her life and she wears it all with pride!  I was scrolling TikTok (where I also have funny Vanity Observations at CollenekennedyFab) and this real life person kept popping up on my FYP.

I simply loved her fab, slightly worn vibe and translated into a character.  Her hair is very large and I suspect a badge of vanity to her.  I had to doodle her the moment I saw her.  As for what she's saying, this is one of those times that the drawing came and the text came at the same time!  

What would you do if life gave you lemons?  As an eternally optimistic person, I'm always making lemonade with them, but I confess I rather like the suggestion of my character!  How bout' you?

The IDNC club -- would you be a member?

So, I recently became aware of something called, the I Do No Care Club; IDNCC.  I realized in seeing it on TikTok that it's intended market is women navigating through peri menopause'ish times.  However, I think it's a genius concept and I see this as a FABULOUS kind of club that should have total inclusion - for all of us who simply do not care about certain things at a certain point!

I could sooooo see this as one of my funny women greeting cards that I would post in my Etsy VanityGallery.  I think I could even see it as a series of cards with different things for which at a certain point we simply don't care about!

At this point, I could care less, how many calories are in a scoop of cookie dough!  That may seem like a small thing, but I truly believe a tsp is like an RX for anything that bugs ya' & I refuse to do a calorie count! (And yes, I keep chilled cookie dough in the fridge!)
