Ima' says, "Just as wearing a fabulous heel can change the way you stand and carry yourself and the perfect shade of lipstick can illuminate your smile -- pluckin' the perfect brow can change the personality of your face!

Yes Dollies, a few tiny eyelash-length hairs removed, shaped, tweaked and /or plucked can make a big change the landscape of your fab' face in mere moments! 

It's your face, so forget what others think and just "Pluck em!" What's the worst that can happen?  If you make them to thin, fill them in!  So go out and have a little pluckin' fun!"

The Right Shoes can Change Everything!

A new point of view can be that simple!

Looking at things with a new point of view can be as simple as changing the shoes you're standing in! Really,   Change the shoes, change the view, change the perspective!  

That's my lil' ol "soleful" Vanity Reflection for the day!

An Easy but Fabulous Dollar Store art project!

This is the easiest wall art project you will ever do!

This wall art item can take no time to do but the most important factor is YOU can create it anyway you like!  It starts with a twine placemat from the Dollar Store, just add photos, quotes, accessories i.e. necklaces and repeat!  It's pretty much that simple!   

I had these handy-dandy picture clippy things from IKEA, but you could use paper clips or wee binder clips.  One could hang with natural colored twine tied on to the placemat.  Would be fab' to hang in a kitchen with different reminders.  I also pick up Index cards at the Dollar Stores and by cutting them with fancy-pancy scissors, I create scalloped edges.

I'll now hand it off to one of my daughters to add whatever she likes to it and as far as I can tell, there;s only one problem... I HAVE NO ROOM TO HANG IT!  I need more walls!  Hope you enjoy!  Art is where you see it!   C

  

This is LaVeena, a true Vanitista.  Her birth name was Laverne, but she felt like LaVeena better suited her personality, presence and style!

La' V, truly believes the most important person you can love is yourself and then you go from there! 

She is always singing to herself, always wears flowers in her lovely lavender hued hair and is almost never without a long and twisting scarf!  Even in summer, she will fling-a thing around her neck and wave it like a flag when conversation calls for a bit of animation and visual punctuation!

Being fabulous may come from the inside, but take it from LaVina, you can never underestimate the fabulousness you can feel when you decorate, celebrate and re-create the outside to match your inner-Laverne!
