I doodled this a very, very long time ago and still love the message and if I say so myself, the art!  I've been asked to "de-age" some of my characters for a pretty big project, but I think a Glam' Gal image is as timeless as the era that inspired the drawing, which is of course Hollywood's Golden era!

And whether you wear lipstick, lip gloss or a balm, don't you think the message holds true???!!!

Vanity Cases -- refreshed!

So I'm working on a project that requires "tweaking" my Vanity Cases to be a bit more ageless and/ or without age... you know, just like all of us!  I'm starting with some bl/white studies which is murder for me!  Drawing without adding color is like dressing without wearing accessories!  Almost impossible I'm sure!

Yoga Note cards...Happiness

Click this image & it will appear larger on your screen & you can then print it on an 8 1/2 sheet of paper; ideally it will be a heavier stock.   Then... to print on the backside of this fabulous lil' multi-tasking note card, follow the arrows & feed the paper in your printer with a "backward, face down dive."  I created this same fab' little card in my on line store with brighter colors.  Come look n' see!  This is an idea little card for jotting down notes when you run into someone or exchanging an email or upcoming plans!  Enjoy!

Okay, there's two ways to do this; you can click the image & when you see it enlarged on your screen, select PRINT and Ta' Dah' you are done.  Or you can "right click" and drag to your desk top and print.  Fold the paper in half horizontally and vertically for the cut-lines.  

I had to tweak this layout what seemed like a millionty times & if for some reason any of the design is cut off when you print, please send me a message and I'll send you the file.  I did this Glam' Gal drawing quite some time ago and I still really like the retro gal who [to me] oozes Glamour from a bygone era!  I actually have two different "text" options for this image;  one is in the Glam' Gal section of my Vanity store and the other is in my Fab Cards" section!  Hope you enjoy!

This is one of a few Yoga themed images that I submitted for licensing consideration for tumblers with straws and/ or coffee cups with lids... I know I created it, but I would buy it as a finished product for a friend even if I say so myself!  Would you?

I've created little blank Vanity "purse & pocket" cards for years.  I think you'll find they come in very handy for tucking in your bag to be used for everything from a one-minute-journal, little to-do lists, for jotting down recipes or websites as well as exchanging notes with friends you might run into.

My goal is to create a Vanity cartoon and/ or card-a-day.  With an active two and six year old this is no small task!  My girls inspire my humor because they keep me young and age me at the same time and offer me loads a' vanity humor; most often when I look in the mirror!

Okay, you have to admit at a certain age it's much more safe to look ahead than behind! It's good to be aware what's "behind" but to be in "my happy place,"I prefer to look and move forward!
